The role of dissent in a free country is undoubtedly to prevent that freedom from eroding into something undemocratic. Every large change in government policy has come from an overwhelming protest against how things currently stand:

Unequal, Unjust and Broken.

But with action going back into the streets from the comfortability of the screen, it's critical we do not spin down a hole of disunity or un-organization. A movement needs passion, but it also needs structure. Without that, a movement is weakened and its outcome, less impactful.

By organizing, we succeed.
